66. You Ever Have a Patient Like This?
Have you ever had a patient that came in on their frequency, came in randomly and then complained all the time, complained that they weren't getting better?
And then stops care, and you lose this patient?
You should be happy, but somehow you are upset you lost them.
You being upset is most likely because of your ego.
When you take a deep breath and look at the situation without ego, you realize that this is great.
Chances are this patient was requiring a lot of time and energy, and their expectations of getting help from you are likely unrealistic, and now they are a headache for another clinic.
You should be happy!
Now you can focus your energy on helping another patient!
This ability to move forward and not let your ego distract you is a considerable skill you have to build to create a busy practice.
For some, this seems to come so naturally, but for me, it is something that I continually have to develop.
(Many will need to continually train on this skill, Learn more about training here)
Regular meditation and exercise help me control the ego and see these events for what they are, a blessing.
Don't judge a book by its cover but realize you won't help everybody and once you can determine whether you can help or not, then focus your energy on the ones you can.
